One HVAC shop for everything, plus filter and cart updates
HVAC Smart Jobs is retired and all equipment shopping now happens through the unified HVAC Smart Shop, alongside filter, cart, and onboarding improvements across the platform.
Every HVAC entry point, from the job builder to suggestion CTAs, now routes into one unified Smart Shop. The older Smart Jobs (v2) flow, its API, and its UI are all removed.
Selected shop filters now appear as removable chips above the results grid, grouped by category, with an inline "Clear all" option. Service line items in the cart nest under their parent product with quantity-accurate pricing instead of appearing as unrelated flat rows.
Equipment deploy notes now appear as a labeled, sortable field on the equipment table and detail dialog, matching how they already worked on mobile. A one-time coachmark on order detail points out the Start Return button for eligible orders.

Improvements
- Distance readout removed from truck fulfillment-location headers for a cleaner layout
- Distributor picker copy now clarifies that distances are measured from the install property, with tidied badge styling
Fixes
- Property auto-fill during onboarding now correctly populates square footage, beds/baths, and year built after a backend rename had silently broken it
- A redundant "who are you shopping for" dialog no longer appears right after picking a property to start an order
- Field Location detail pages no longer get stuck loading when the record contains an unparseable date
