A Part Request now arrives with a repair or replace recommendation, the reasoning behind it, and real replacement units you can order.
Repair or replace, with the reasoning shown
Approving a Part Request meant weighing repair against replacement with nothing in front of you but the part itself. The request now carries a recommendation either way, along with the reasoning behind it, so the call is visible instead of assumed.
When replacement is the answer, the request lists replacement units that are actually available, rather than sending you to the catalog to go looking. The cost shown covers the whole job, including installation and haul-away, so the number an approver sees is the number they are agreeing to.
